Abstract :
A novel VQ-based data hiding scheme using nearest neighbor labeling method and II macr matrix as embed/extract matrix is presented in this paper. According to the nearest relationship between codebook codewords, the labeled value of every codeword by the nearest-neighbor labeling method was different from its nearest codeword, based on which, using II macr matrix, as many as m bits data can be embedded in every 2m VQ coded indexes where at most [m/2] indexes aren´t optimum. The simulated results by the computer showed that the VQ-based information hiding method has larger capacity and better imperceptibility.
