Abstract :
Measurements of sunshine duration and average temperature data obtained from meteorological center in Cameroon spanning a period of 30 years (from 1961 to 1990) have been used to predict the availability of solar radiation at Yaounde (longitude11.31, latitude0.35N). Then we use ZABARA method to predict solar radiation from measured (available) sunshine duration. Finally HOMER software is employed to simulate the PV output power for the whole year.
