Abstract
On the basis of analysis of various streaming media digital copyright management security protocols, this paper presents a digital copyright protection protocol which is adaptive to dynamic, distributed and heterogeneous IPTV network environments and can span the diverse security domain. This protocol does not only meet the basic requirements of digital copyright protection, but also has the ability to defend against IPTV protocol attacks and assure fairness between digital content Web service providers and customers by introducing a gateway web service and copyright center. We also apply WS-Security to the protocol to ensure end-to-end security and wsdl which explains how operations can be invoked. Furthermore, a formalization tool is applied to analyze the security of the protocol and the analysis results indicate that the protocol is secure.
