Abstract
In this paper, under Doppler spread channel, in order to reduce the error of channel estimation caused by Doppler spread, the optimal pilot tones is proposed with respect to the mean square error (MSE) of least square (LS) channel estimation in the wireless orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. It is shown that the phase shift is needed based on conventional equipowered, equispaced pilot tones design scheme. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
