Abstract
This paper describes speciation of methyl- and butyltin compounds by a chromatographic-atomic absorption spectrometric technique at the low picogram level, and its application to estuarine water and sediment samples. Major results are that methyl- and butyltin aquatic concentrations in the Great Bay Estuary vary with the season, and that their measurable sediment concentrations (as Sn) range from 2 to 80 ng/g.
