Abstract
With the advent of knowledge economy era, knowledge has become the most important source of the competitive advantage for an organization. Cooperation by industry, university and research institute to enhance the comprehensive strength has become an important development strategy of University. Based on the knowledge-based comprehensive strength of university, this paper analyses the inherent mechanism of IARC promoting university strength in view of knowledge theory-based competition ability. And then, analyses the process and experience of IARC in Dalian Jiaotong University.
