Abstract :
The paper discusses the simulated analysis on two cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) with a conducting sheet, loaded with the 50Ω CPW feed. The antenna offers almost 54% miniaturization with dual band at 2.45 GHz and 3.44 GHz applicable at the ISM (WiFi, 802.11b/g) and 3.5GHz band (WiMAX) respectively. The return loss, impedance matching and radiation characteristics of the antenna are studied.
