Abstract
It has been generally said that a multi-stage approximate reasoning shows the explosion of fuzziness with the number of reasoning stages. In this paper, we study how a formation of membership functions of consequence part affects the spread of fuzziness in a multi-fold multi-stage approximate reasoning (MMAR). And we study the relationship between the dynamics of parametrical t-norm and the spread of fuzziness in the MMAR. It will be a useful guide for designing fuzzy rules in MMAR
