  • Abstract
    This paper analyzes the capacity of medium access in a Bluetooth system. A random model of data transmission has been developed, establishing the relationship between data rate and transmission success rate (or data loss rate) for the first time, i.e., in a piconet, too large data rate will surely bring data loss for any scheduling. It is hoped that this work will form the basis for future research.
