Abstract :
A suitable project manager has a very important promoting role to play in the smooth and successful implementation of the project. This paper attempts to set up a comprehensive evaluation model of project manager candidates and evaluation of the qualifications of the candidates for a construction project by using principles of fuzzy mathematics. Empirical research shows that fuzzy mathematical methods provide a new approach to selecting candidates for the project manager, based on a scientific, fair and reasonable evaluation of the suitability degree of a candidate, therefore, the main factors which constitute a project manager can be identified by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation matrix, which contributes to cultivate and promote required talents.
