Abstract
In this paper, for microbolometer array, we point put the shortcomings of conventional correction method under constant voltage bias method, build the physical thermal model of the microbolometer in response to infrared (IR) to deduce the expression of current-responsivity in theory, and put forward a new bias equalization for microbolometer array based on this expression. Theoretical analysis and experimentally measured results indicate that the bias equalization can effectively improve the performance of microbolometric focal plane array (FPA).
