  • Abstract
    This paper presents a method of analyzing interstices of a continuous thread section by applying image processing techniques. To characterize effectively the shape of each interstice, we introduce the concept of connection degree and fuzzy surface based on fuzzy theory. The proposed connection degree can be learned automatically from examples in order to be adapted to geometric measurements and human impressions on the analyzed interstices
