Abstract :
CCITT (International Telegraphy and Telephony Consultative Committee) has standardized a new synchronous interface named SDH (synchronous digital hierarchy). A number of SDH-based digital radio systems have been developed. Design criteria for such SDH radio systems are described. Technical details and an illustration of some applications are presented. The 11/15 G-150 M (8 PSK) and 4/11 G-50 M (4 PSK) systems are presented in detail
