Abstract :
This paper has studied a control strategy and algorithm to ensure the wind turbine to work in the optimal state when the wind speed is low. Taking into account the overshoot of output power and the power consumption of the wind turbine itself, a simple and effective realization of the load control algorithm has been designed. Simulation results on MATLAB show that the designed algorithm could guarantee the optimal and stable output power and take a small overshoot of power. This could be a significant method for the design of the optimal load control of the wind turbine.
