Abstract :
Summary form only given. Two optical pulses propagating simultaneously in a planar waveguide with positive Kerr-type nonlinearity and anomalous dispersion are considered. It is assumed that duration of first (second) pulse, referred here to as the short (long) pulse, is in the picosecond (nanosecond) time-domain.
