Abstract :
With increase in recording density of HDD, to deposit a recording medium as designed and also to evaluate whether the medium is or not become more important. In the previous work, we reported that differentiation of the in-plane magnetization Min on the field 4pi d(Min)/dH is informative and an additional peak at 0-field reflect a condition of the initial layer by comparing experimental data and computer-simulated results [1], However, values of media parameters such as inter-grain exchange coupling at the initial layer were not estimated. In this work, values of the peak height at 0-field in 4pi d(Min)/dH have been analyzed in wide range of media parameters and obtaining these parameters has been discussed.
