Abstract
Future space-based phased arrays will use 104-105 solid-state sources for feeding the radiating elements. The frequency incoherency of all these oscillators are removed by injection locking. But dissimilar frequency response characteristics of the individual oscillators produces point error of the beam. This formidable difficulty has been removed through the use of optically controlled injection phase-locked oscillator. A partial experimental results of the indirect optical injection locking have been given in favor of the theory
