  • Abstract
    A slot loading exploited as a novel termination of conventional Vivaldi antennas is introduced. This named slot-loaded Vivaldi antenna has been demonstrated to have the impedance bandwidth of over 25:1. In addition, an 1×4 H-plane phased array is constructed to demonstrate maximum 30 degree scan angle operated at the ultra-wide bandwidth of 4-16 GHz.
