Abstract :
The mass imbalance often cause the vibration of high-speed rotation machinery in actual use. And it´s the most common cause of the malfunction. Based on the theory of rotor dynamics, we can diagnose the failure and its causes more accurately by applying the software to doing simulation analysis of characteristics of rotor dynamic. Moreover, it provides reliable basis for the further solutions to the failures. This paper analyses a corporation´s compressor with abnormal vibration which does not work well in the process of operation, and find out the reasons for its vibration. According to the calculated results, the local structures of its rotor are transformed. After transformation, the compressor runs smoothly after being transformed. The vibration caused by imbalance of rotating mass is improved and eliminated basically.
