Abstract :
A novel scheme that uses quadratic B-spline temporal basis function(TBF) and accurate evaluation of the MOT matrix elements is proposed. For solving time domain integral equation (TDIE) equation of transient scattering problems, this TBF permits consistent approximations of the induced currents and charges, leading to proper representations of the fields contributed by both the vector and scalar potentials. Besides, the accurate evaluation of the MOT matrix elements via exact evaluation of radiation of fields would provides reliable analysis of TDIE and avoids the costly evaluation of the full space-time integrals in scattering problems, leading to stable and accurate numerical results.
