Abstract :
Forward-backward linear prediction and singular value decomposition (SVD) methods can be used for estimating the frequencies of multiple sinusoids in white noise for non-uniformly sampled data. The performance of the estimation depends on the sampling scheme. We first review the least squares linear prediction (LP) method for the non-uniform sampling case, then the effect of the sampling scheme on the estimation performance is discussed
