Abstract :
The magnetic properties and microstructure of FePt film on island-like Ge3Pt2 were studied in this paper. The surface morphology of GePt underlayer on different deposition temperature were discussed and the island-like GePt-FePt underlayer was explored. The structural analysis were done by TEM, grazing incident XRD, and FESEM with EDS attachment. Magnetic hysteresis were measured at room temperature by using vibration sample magnetometer (VSM) and magnetic domain images were observed by magnetic force microscopy (MFM) with digital instrument system.
