Abstract
In this paper, a matrix-based biochip was developed, that includes 16x16 cells. Each cell comprises a 10x2 mum2 magnetoresistive sensor (magnetic tunnel junction) and a 200x200 mum2 thin-film a-Si:H diode. The individual cell also comprises current lines for biomolecular target concentration over the probe sites.
