Abstract :
Novel techniques for analytically designing digital FIR notch filters for a specified notch frequency (ωd) and 3-dB rejection bandwidth (B¯W¯) are proposed. Design formulas, explicit as well as recursive, for computing exact weights and the length, N, required for the filters are derived. Illustrative examples are also given
