Abstract :
A new digital image hiding technology based on three-dimension object digital holography is presented. Hiding and extraction of digital hologram are realized in the gray host image. The digital hologram is optically obtained with four-step phase shifting method. The complex data encoded by double random phase are embedded in the DCT domain of the host image and the hidden information is extracted by neighbor pixel value subtraction (NPVS) algorithm. Extraction of the hidden information and reconstruction of three-dimension object digital hologram are simulated with the host image hiding information attacked by half and three-quarter occlusion processing, adding salt & pepper noise with 0.02 density and 4-bit gray-scale quantization. The simulation results demonstrate the hiding technology has large capacity information, good robustness, strong anti-noise and anti-loss-compression abilities and high security which can be used to protect the digital multi-media copyright efficiently and safe data transmission.
