Abstract :
Although not so well-known as other integral transform (Fourier, Laplace, etc.), the Sumudu transform, proposed in the early 1990s, has some interesting advantages over other integral transforms, especially the `unity´ feature which could provide convenience when solving differential equations. After brief introduction of its definition and properties, we compare the Sumudu transform with the Laplace transform in terms of several examples in order to show its unique character.
