Abstract :
The radiation characteristics of a 3-element coplanar waveguide antenna array are presented. A microstrip line network was designed to feed the array and the array elements were connected to the feeding system by a microstrip-line-to-coplanar-waveguide transition. The experimental results show that the array has a broadside radiation pattern with 5.24 dB power gain and a return loss better than -15 dB, for the design frequency of 1.58 GHz
