Abstract :
In this study, an adaptive equalization algorithm is proposed to recover a discrete-time chaotic signal, which is transmitted through a Finite Impuls Response (FIR) channel. Equalizer is modelled as an adaptive FIR filter and the filter coefficents are updated by the proposed algorithm. The short term predictability of a chaotic signal is exploited to derive and formulate the algorithm.
