Abstract :
Proposed a morphological filter and wavelet transform combined method for super high-speed fault phase selection. In this method, the amount of the fault phase transformation by Karen Bell fault components into modules. And then strike the wavelet transform modulus maxima modulus, and finally according to characteristics of modulus maximum modulus construct a new component fault phase. The selector achieved by this method can overcome the lack of traditional phase selection, not only with high-speed characteristics, but also without the influence of transition resistances and the mode of the power system, so, the phase selection results are accurate and reliable. A large number of simulation results show the selector´s effectiveness and correctness.
