Abstract :
In this paper, a new ultra-wideband (UWB) monopole antenna for EMC measurements is presented. The proposed EMC measuring antenna can be used for EMC radiations detection in printed circuit boards (PCB) and many digital devices such as mobile handsets, PDAs and other mobile communication systems. The proposed monopole antenna has a bulb shaped radiating patch which is fed by a 50 Ω microstrip line. The performance and characteristics of the antenna are investigated.
