Abstract :
We have already proposed an adaptive antenna of VHF band for the vehicle using the defogger. The defogger is used as the shared aperture by implementing several ports. In addition, by introducing the ESPAR concept, adaptive beam pattern can be formed with single receiving channel. In this paper, we present by numerical simulation that the proposed antenna has broadband characteristics and the degradation due to the resistivity of defogger material was not serious.
