Abstract :
Both in-car navigation systems and communications equipment are becoming a normal part in individual vehicles. Most of the communications are based on cellular techniques. The idea is to use the equipment not only for voice, but also for data communications. On the one hand this enhances the quality of the traffic management and leads to better route calculation and on the other hand it improves the connection to business and private data while driving. The advantages to have such combination inside a car are presented
