Abstract :
In this paper, a compact low power-consuming actuator for camera image stabilizer is designed and tested. The AC sensitivity of the actuator is 216 m/s2A, and the output force of the actuator is 0.281 Nt/A. By applying the thrust ball bearing to reduce the friction between the movable part and the stationary part, the minimum driving current can be less than 10 mA. The actuator can fulfill low power consumption requirement, and this design is also possible to reduce the size for the application of image stabilizer of mobile phone cameras.
