Abstract :
The paper approaches the problem of power control in mobile wireless networks. We aim at solving the trade-off between conflicting constraints on the bounds of the two relevant variables of the system - the power and the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) - that is to keep the SIR at a high value with a low power. One of the challenges refers to the partial controlability of the system. We solve the control problem by taking advantage of the inherent system nonlinearities.
