Abstract :
We have implemented a capacitive charge-division read-out for a germanium 5×5 orthogonal strip detector. Nonlinearities appear in the response along the charge division network, as well as along the length of each strip. Cross-talk and nonlinearity effects behave as predicted and can be corrected by using an independent gain calibration for each pixel
