  • Abstract
    The authors report on the progress of research into applications using high-speed digital signal processing and parallel architecture design to provide high-speed digital transport capability for the embedded copper loop plant. The emphasis is placed on the parallel processing of the newly developed structured channel signaling, the parallel architecture design of an adaptive echo canceler, and a fractionally spaced equalizer for applications in high-speed digital data transmission in the copper loop plant
