  • Abstract
Adaptive optics system is the necessary facility for the large telescope in order to obtain the clear image. Due to the complexity and cost, the simulation of adaptive optics is important. In the paper, a simulation platform is built up, which includes the wavefront sensor, deformable mirror, tip/tilt mirror and a controller with a reconstructor. Based on the platform, an adaptive optics system potentially for a 42m telescope is simulated. The simulation result show that the simulation platform can be used to predict the performance and simulate the effect of the components on the system. In addition, the simulation platform is generic and can be widely used in most of adaptive optics systems in all kinds of fields.
