Title :
Charging on caller´s choice: increasing mobile subscriber´s reachability by CAMEL
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
In certain cases a mobile subscriber must share part of the call charge when being called. In order to reduce the cost, mobile subscribers have to limit their real-time reachability. Customized applications for mobile network enhanced logic (CAMEL) applies the intelligent network (IN) architecture in GSM networks. It allows network operators to provide advanced value-added services as easy as IN for fixed network operators. After a brief introduction to the CAMEL architecture, this paper proposes a CAMEL-based service aiming at increasing the reachability of a mobile subscriber and limiting the mobile subscribers´ expense when being called
