Abstract :
Algorithms of the state estimation are regarded as the core part of the state estimation. Firstly, the basic concepts and mathematical models of the power system state estimation are described briefly. Then the current proposed algorithms for power system state estimation, including: least square algorithm, fast decoupled method, orthogonal transformation algorithm, state estimation algorithm based on measurement transformation, district coordinated algorithm, etc. are surveyed. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are reviewed as well. Finally, the main development trends of state estimation are pointed out.
