Abstract :
This paper presents a robust compensator of harmonics and reactive power for electric power systems, which consists essentially of an electronic source and a robust controller. This compensator permits us to eliminate harmonics to an acceptable level and to compensate reactive power. The control system for this compensator is robust for uncertainties in power system parameters and characteristics of the power electronic source used as the compensator. It is also adaptive to variation of the frequency of the power network
