Abstract :
An omnidirectional probe for accurate wind measurement is presented. The probe consists of two crosswind sensors mounted side by side and at right angles to each other. Only eight operational amplifiers and two comparators are used in the conditioning circuits. The paper describes the structure of the sensor and its conditioning circuits in detail. Experimental results are given for a typical hot-film sensor
