  • Abstract
The Maxwell stress tensor is one of the most widely used method that can get the force or torque values of electromagnetic devices. This method is very simple and easy to apply in both global and local force calculation. But, trying to use the Maxwell stress tensor method, we have to pay attention to the integration path and the discontinuity of element flux density values around it. So, we suggest very simple concept of smoothing the field values around the integration path in the Maxwell stress tensor force calculation process.
