Abstract :
Training for tactical communication network (TCN) and its various communication equipments needs support of realistic dynamic networking environment. To meet the requirement, the concept of computer generated network (CGN) was advanced, which borrowed the idea of computer generated forces (CGF). According to this, the CGN principle frame was designed and a realization framework for network simulator based on CGN was brought out. Then three different modes for TCN simulation training based on the concept of CGN were put forward, namely, all-element virtual mode, part-element virtual mode and all-element actual mode. The research introduced new method and novel idea for TCN simulation training.
