Abstract
Summary form only given. We present an innovative approach to photon migration in a two-layer system. The reconstruction of the absorption spectra of a two-layer system was obtained by an empirical algorithm based on the results of time-resolved reflectance spectroscopy (TRS) measurements performed over a broad spectral range and at different inter-fiber distances.
