Abstract
A new method has been developed to realize the fcc-fct structure phase transition while retaining the particle size and shape of the ferromagnetic nanoparticles. Heat treatment was used to convert the fcc structure to face-centered tetragonal structure in FePt nanoparticles of various sizes.
