Abstract
A new physical approach and a novel technique is described to fabricate L10 phase FePt nanoparticles directly. The morphology of the L10 phase nanoparticles and their size is investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). A SQUID magnetometer is used to measure the magnetic properties of these L10 FePt nanoparticles.
