Abstract
The purpose of this report is to set up an analysis model for determining the response of Tension Leg Platform (TLP) at it´s connection with the pile foundation when the TLP is subjected to vertical seismic excitation. This specific TLP is analyzed to show the application of the procedures which will be explained in this report. As a result of a calculation, the uplift capacity of the pile foundation must be more than about twice as much as the initial net buoyancy.
