Abstract :
In this paper, a concept of an antenna with digital beam steering is presented. The design of each antenna element is first discussed and then the mutual effect between antenna elements is investigated. A new imbalance calibration formula was proposed to compensate RF impairments. The antenna prototype was fabricated and measured confirming the advantage of the proposed concept.
