Abstract
A new handheld vibration analyzer based on the S3C2440, a 32-bit ARM9 CPU and the ADS1274, a square-Sigma high-speed simultaneous 24-bit analog to digital converter, is presented. The design of the hardware is described. The LS037V7DW03, a TFT-LCD touch screen with resolution 480 times 640 in 3.7 inches, was employed to display the various graphics and curves of vibration. The hardware drivers based on Windows CE 5.0 that is an embedded operating system has been developed, in which the problem between high-speed data acquisition and mass data via the serial transmission SPI has been solved by the fast interruption technology. It is proved that the sampling frequency is up to the largest sampling designed and the sampled signal is accurate and reliable.
