  • Abstract
    This article presents a surface integral equation solver for efficient analysis of scattering from large-scale and complex piecewise homogeneous structures that may include not only traditional double-positive penetrable materials and perfect-electric conductors but also single/double-negative metamaterials and their junctions. Numerical results validate the accuracy and efficiency of the fast solver and demonstrate its versatility for solving general multi-region problems including metamaterial cloaking problems and homogenization problems.
